Francois Hardy was an integral member of the band Equinox; one of South Africa's most successful outfits. They recorded an album with David Gresham and have launched several successful music videos which have been televised nationally.

Francois sings in English, Spanish and French, and plays lively percussion. Together with his band he provides a slick, polished performance with a repertoire ranging from Ballades, Rock, Pop and Latino.

Besides several other International Hotel residencies, Francois performed successfully at Beacon Islands’ Sea Lounge for 2 years before returning to Durban. He has hosted and performed with Kerishnee Naicker at the IT Girl National Modelling competition, and has also performed for Arch Bishop Tutu at the Masibuye graduation. Francois (Equinox) performed prior to Los Del Rio (Macarena) in their Durban leg of their National Concert Tour.

Today, Francois Hardy performs solo as well as with different variations of his 4 piece band - “The Francois Hardy Band” as well as Hosts and compares Corporate seminars and Events as well Pageants and Competitions

Marc Schmitt - Guitar
Marc has over 20 years experience on stage with a variety of bands and artists from Tina Turner to more recently South African hip hop star Garth Taylor.

Ian Jones - Bass / Vocals 
Ian initially came out to South Africa with visiting British Band “Altitude”, and has gained a reputation as one of the most respected studio musicians in South Africa. He recently returned from a six month contract at The Hilton Hotel In Shang Hai.

Lauren Laing

Lauren Laing has been singing and performing since she was 7 years old. She was a top 20 finalist In the Idols 2002 Competition and has recently released her debut album "Bounce” featuring the track “ For the Girls” which local Radio stations and listeners alike have made a firm S.A. favourite.

Marion Loudon

A Natal Technikon Drama graduate, Marion has performed in several Musical Shows, a.o. ABBA Maniacs, Sleeping Beauty, Cinders and her Fella, Karen Carpenter Story, Great Rock and Roll Party, Spicy Chicks, Cantina Tequila, California Dreaming, When Basil met Elvis, Snow White, Vegas Revealed. On the corporate side Marion performed successfully with all girl band STRUTT for 2 years.

 

Karen Wood

Karen has performed on several cruise liners, including The luxury cruise liner, The MS Royal Star, then took a lead role in the pantomime of Sleeping Beauty which ran for 5 months at the Playhouse Cellar Theatre in Durban. More recently Karen Performed in the hit supper theatre show ABBA, as well as Rock Solid, The Motown Show, Hollywood Rocks and a tribute to Madonna.

 

Yvette Barnard

Yvette did the show “Bus Stop” which ran at the Playhouse for 3 months. She has performed at Splashy Fenn and has acted opposite Bill Flynn in a SA movie released at The Cannes Film Festival. She spent two years performing in Extravaganza Shows at Carnival City.
