Rob Taylor has been performing as a one man band for the last twenty years. His career has taken him to the Far east, Europe, Ireland, Mauritius and Africa. His wide range of musical styles and his ability to get an excellent response from every audience he performs for makes him one of the most sought-after entertainers in the business. 

Rob's voice is perfect for the more gentile music and also possesses great power and presence for the more up-tempo dance and party sets. He is kept busy performing for corporate clients such as Mcdonalds, ABSA, BMW, Vodacom, Coca Cola, Liberty Life, Pick 'n Pay, Johnson & Johnson, SASOL, Toyota, Gillette, Sun City, Nedcor, Fedics, South African Chefs Associations, KFC, Anglo Mines, Southern Sun, Crowngold, SAA Netcare Travel Clinics, Sealy of South Africa, Aon SA, Montecasino, Anglo American, Ridge Casino, Kyalami Marshals association, to mention a few. He also performs at weddings and private parties. Rob uses a cordless head microphone and a cordless guitar, enabling him to roam through the audience and entertain close-up, showing his awesome guitar skills. His repertoire ranges from the great oldies and favorites right up to the latest top twenty. Rob Taylor's show is powerful, energetic and visual.

Rob's musical talent has been cultivated since the age of four, first taking up the guitar and later the piano. He signed his first entertainment contract while still at school at the age of sixteen, and went on to perform at most of the Southern Sun, and Sun International Hotels around Southern Africa. He also performed at The Moulin Rouge, The Park Lane and The Ambassador Hotels in Hillbrow, and Talking Heads in Rocky Street, Diggers Grill And Late Night All's at Bruma Lake in the mid and late 80's. Rob was lead vocalist in the band "Odyssey" in the early nineties with Leon Mervis, Brin Addison and Neil Ford. Later Rob and Leon formed the great Duo "Anything Goes" and performed country wide. In the early 90's Rob went to Ireland for over a year and performed all around the country taking time out to perform in The Far East for the three months. He returned to South Africa and later did more trips to The Far East.. In the later 90's Rob moved to Cape Town and performed at venues like Quay Four, Naughties, Cantina Tequila and Watney Girls. After a year of writing music he returned to Johannesburg.  Rob has now been playing at Montecasino in Fourways for the last 5 years. From Chianties Show bar, where he had a two year stint, he went to Cobblestones Pub where he has been performing on Friday nights for the last 3 Years. He also played at The Plazzo Hotel Montecasino on Sunday afternoons for two years.
