Collectively and or individually they have performed throughout Africa, United Kingdom, America (New Orleans, New York), Far East UAE (Dubai), Australia, Sweden, Denmark, Europe.

V.J.R boasts the ability to maintain the same level of excellence in various musical genres. Their jazz repertoire covers all styles ranging from light cocktail jazz to cutting edge virtuous original compositions. Their versatility in the fields of commercial dance music, has given them credibility as the most sort after entertainment band for Private and Corporate functions. It is in this field that the true diversity of VJR can be seen. Whether it be light Classical Ballroom, Rock 'n Roll, R&B. Disco or African music, the group has the ability to incorporate various artists to satisfy the need of the event.

The band jazz repertoire is to vast to catalogue, it stretches in the thousands. It includes over 100 original compositions (some of which have reached the top of the jazz charts) all the popular jazz standards. i.e All the Sinatra, Natalie, Nat King Cole, Carlos Jobim, Ella Fitzgerald classics etc.

V.J.R has done numerous TV an radio specials and worked with artists such as Pavarotti, Jonathan Butler, Shirley Bassey, Liberace, Marian Makeba, Hugh Masekela, Bono, Anastasia, Shakatak, Latoya Jackson, Judith Suphuma (A former member of V.J.R.), Jimmy Dludlu. The list goes on... Collectively the band has no fewer than 12 CD releases in a variety of music genres to their credit highly acclaimed top selling chart topping. Individually the members have impressive CV's and are top in their fields as bandleaders, studio musician, music educators, performers and composers.
