CAMERATA TINTA BAROCCA
Camerata Tinta Barocca, founded by Quentin Crida in July 2004, is a baroque ensemble of string players with harpsichord. (The name is derived from the musicians' passion for baroque music and red wine...) CTB's members include some of Cape Town's finest musicians. The group's concerts have met with critical acclaim in the Cape Times and Die Burger, and have been broadcast on Fine Music Radio. We perform monthly at St George's Cathedral, Cape Town. Playing music almost exclusively from the baroque era, they invite soloists to perform with them in oratorios as well as in wind, keyboard, and string concertos.
