 Zorada Temmingh, innovative Stellenbosch organist displays her improvisation skill on the organ when she creates a soundtrack for the legendary silent movie, The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1923).
This talented musician recreates the magic of the forgotten movie theatre. The production has debuted successfully at Aardklop and the Klein Karoo Nasionale Kunstefees . Zorada received an award for her groundbreaking work for extending the boundaries of classical music.
The human drama is transformed into a fascinating musical happening when the organ acts as narrator.
The performance is highly recommended for teachers teaching music at all levels as well as learners. Due to prejudice in the film, no children under the age of twelve will be allowed to attend the performances
