Marelize de Beurs has shared the stage with well known artists such as Abdulah Ibrahim, Gloria Bosman, Lebo M, Laurika Rauch, Dimitri Ashkenazy, Nataniël and Zanne Stapelberg as tutti violinist in various orchestras in South Africa - including the Johannesburg Philharmonic, the Johannesburg Music Initiative, the Johannesburg Symphony, the Eastern Cape Philharmonic, the Free State Symphony, the Electronic Pops Orchestra as well as the National Youth Orchestra.

She was a full-time member The KwaZulu Natal Philharmonic Orchestra from 2006 – 2008. During this time she was also a member of the all-girl electric violin quartet, BraVa, who performed for Mandela at his private residence on his 90th Birthday and stunned an international audience at the Preliminary Drawing of the Fifa World Cup 2010.

Performance highlights include solo performance with Chris Chameleon and Andre Swiegers, as well as electric violin performances with legendary rock artist Karen Zoid, Wendy Oldfield, SA supergroup Sterling EQ, Afro-funk sensation, CODA, and Casta Alma flamenco jazz group.

Marelize is currently also a member of the ACE Ensemble, a group of female Classical musicians that is a popular feature at many of Cape Town's most prestigious events, including concerts, corporate functions, weddings, wine and food festivals and restaurants.
