Nightlife Conspiracy is a new electro lounge act presenting an interesting and diverse collaboration, drawing on influences from pop, trip hop, jazz, funk and lounge. Nightlife Conspiracy offers up a sound uniquely capetonian, and a musical experience that is accessible yet maintains strong underground roots.

The Artists:

Lisa Bauer (Vocalist)
Lisa fronts the act, a talented and professional jazz vocalist Lisa is a versatile singer capable of elegant pop, or complex jazz. With inflections from Norah Jones to Roison Murphy, she is a performer not to be missed.

Lisa performs regularly with the 'Johnny Cooper Orchestra', 'Mamavox' (an all female jazz vocal group) as well as 'The Baobab Three' amongst various others.

James Kibby (Guitarist)
Coming from a strong Funk and Blues background James is a veteran of the local music scene and having played alongside many of SA's top artists is currently front man for Acid Blues as well as his recent and quite successful solo endeavour 'The James Kibby projects' first album 'Nowhere to hide'.

Paul van Zyl (Producer / Percussionist / electronics / DJ)
Forming the production backbone of the group, Paul brings years of experience in composition, , synthesis, and programming to the band as well a wide diversity of musical influences. Paul is also a recognised producer in his own right, having several successful local releases as well as his first international release on Agave Records( Florida ).

Additional Services

Additional sound, lighting and staging can be provided at your request. We are also reasonably well connected within the local music community and can arrange additional performers, Dj's and the likes as and if it is necessary. We are also more than happy to present a proposal for a full evenings entertainment for your venue or event including technical and co-ordination should it be required.

Nightlife Conspiracy is a sophisticated lounge act providing an excellent back drop to early evening cocktails, a stylish event or a late night lounging session.
